I admit it- I'm such a loser and have not had the courage to get my butt on the scale and weigh myself. I'm in denile. Since I don't weigh myself, I feel like I'm allowed to eat almost anything because I won't be looking at the tiny increase on the scale the next day.
Part of the problem is that there is always an "occasion." We are both guilty of it, a birthday here, a shower there, and so on. The point is, because of all these "occasions," we get off track and have a hard time getting back on track.
So, what is the solution? I think I need to be much more accountable for what I eat. I also need to get on a diet plan and stick to it- no excuses. If fat loss is 70% diet and 30% training, I'm doing this all wrong.
I also think that watching "The Biggest Loser" will be an inspiration. In fact, we can join the club online for free and join in support forums.
What should our diet entail? I'm going to have to start really watching everything. My mom lost a lot of weight on the "no yeast" plan. I think that since it worked well for her that it will work well for me. How can you go wrong with taking out yeast and sugar?
So, when should this plan start? Well, until I had cake and ice cream for my niece's birthday, I would have said today. I'm going to Austin this weekend, so I should say next week. But, time is not on my side. I can't keep putting off losing weight. Who will be inspired by a fat instructor? No one. I have to start taking this more seriously. Niki and I are fitness professionals. The time has come. We have the education. Now we just have to look the part.
We can do this. It won't be easy, but the payoff will be amazing!
